New Ponies...............

Two weeks ago we handed Hannah's loan pony back to his owner. He was a sweet pony, but the circumstances just weren't right and I felt like we could find a better match. Hannah had lost confidence and with little support from his owner it was clear he wasn't the one!

Luckily, Hannah's riding instructor was on hand to help out on the confidence front, and after a few days together Hannah bounced back happier than ever and far more confident than I've seen her in a long time.

So, the search was on for a new pony. I thought it might take forever, but a week later and we have found the loveliest ponies to part loan. I especially wanted to part loan and having their owner on hand and helping her out is proving to suit Hannah perfectly. She loves both ponies, they are fun to ride, well mannered and even better, because there are two of them Hannah gets to ride out with their owner which is far more fun than riding alone 😀.

Home Ed Sports Day 2017

Hannah went to sports day today! She had a blast with her friend Maddy, they did all the races and spent the whole day hanging out together. It was really busy, so many families there - home ed is definitely getting more popular!

And she got 3 certificate 😊

Home Educators Annual Marwell Zoo Trip 2017

Every year since Hannah was four, we have been to Marwell Zoo on the summer home educators trip. This year was lovely, the weather was good, and lots of the zoo had been upgraded. Dean took some great pictures, including this little jackdaw who ate his lunch out of my hand ❤.
