Riding - A Lesson and A Hack

Hannah has already ridden twice this week. Yesterday she had a lesson with her friends, and today she went out for a hack on her own. She hadn't hacked out for ages and was looking forward to it. Her riding instructor accompanied her on foot to manage the traffic, and make sure Hannah stayed safe, (I love that she does this, I would hate her to ride out alone), and Hannah had a lovely time.

On Sunday Hannah and I joined some friends for a rainy walk at the Sustainability Centre. It was lovely to be out despite the weather, and nice to have a catch up with friends. Hannah took lots of pictures, most of these are hers 😊

The last two Weeks

Busy, busy couple of weeks for Hannah!

Last week was half term, so we had lots of play dates. Our friends came over from Pulborough for a day. It was lovely to see them and the girls had a brilliant time with the American Girl dolls. They also have ponies, so there was lots of horse talk between the girls.
Then some more friends came over for a catch up, and we made plans for Hannah and her friend Melissa to do some studying together as both girls were keen.
Hannah also rode on Tuesday

and spent Saturday at the stables as usual.

During last week I mentioned to a friend that we were looking for a part loan pony, and she offered Hannah the pony Hannah used to ride when she was 5! So, on Monday we went over to visit and Hannah helped out in the yard and reunited with Cracker and his friends.

On Tuesday Hannah was back at the stables for a riding lesson,

and then yesterday her friend Faye came over. They had so much fun playing on the Wii, and catching up - they hadn't seen each other for ages and really made up for lost time!

Today Hannah and Melissa had a study morning,

and then we all went to Flipout for home ed trampolining. Lots of our other friends were there as well, and Hannah loved it.

Finally, our kitten has become a tiny little cat - she is such a lovely little cat too 😊.

Still Here - A Catch Up

We've been busy reorganizing the house and replacing some furniture for better storage solutions. It's taken all my time leading to me being way behind with my blog.

So, a little catch up -

Hannah has a new school area and desk. We found it in IKEA and it's perfect.

 She has been working at it this week and found it much easier to keep things organised. She has been reading Oliver Twist and working through the corresponding lessons in her Galore Park English book.

She also has Galore Park maths and history, Spectrum science and The Everything Kids Geography book which is really fun and interesting.

A friend told us about this online maths program The Maths Factor which Hannah tried last week. It really suits her, so we have signed up for it. There was a special offer of £14.99 for the first quarter (half normal price) which was even better!

Lily is growing so fast! She is almost 4 months old now, and despite all the cute sleeping pictures, is actually a whirlwind of crazy non-stop kitten!

Of course, there has been lots of stable time for Hannah as well, I asked her to take some pictures this week - this is what I got haha

and finally lots of skyping and real life hanging out with her friend Izzy. They chatter non- stop when they are together and speak to each other every single day.
