A lovely day with a friend

Today we have spent the day with Hannah's friend Coral, and her grandmother. Hannah and Coral have been really close friends since they were babies, but only see each other during the school holidays now that Coral is at school, so when they are together they have a lot of catching up to do.
Coral arrived this morning at our house, met the chickens and played dressing up and dancing with Hannah. Then after a lunch of scrambled eggs on toast, (as all our hens are now laying) we went to Victoria park and the girls drank Babychino's, ate ice cream, and played in the sunshine while Coral's grandma and i relaxed and caught up on all the news. It's been a lovely day.
