Writing, Maths and Art

This morning Hannah and I read some poems from this lovely children's poetry book that Hannah has,

and then Hannah chose her favourite one to illustrate and copy out in her writing journal. Her handwriting is really improving now and she is enjoying writing at last.
Then she did some adding and subtracting practise, including learning to 'carry the one' .
And finally a beautiful painting she did for me - it's called Happy Hearts :-)
