History Session - Florence Nightingale

Yesterday our history group met at the library to continue with our sessions learning about Famous Victorians.

It was Diane's turn to lead the session and she did a great job!

She used mind mapping to create a bright chart of  important facts,

told the children the story of Florence's life, and then gave them all sheets of card and fact sheets to cut and stick their own Florence Nightingale fact poster.

Next the children all completed a missing words sheet,
and a Florence Nightingale word search.

Hannah thought the session was really good and thinks she would have liked Florence Nightingale a lot!!
