Thank you to everyone who has followed us during this time, and especially thank you for all the comments. It's so nice to hear from others, and we've made some lovely new friends, and found some really inspiring blogs to follow ourselves.
Also today Hannah received her first fountain pen. She has wanted one ever since getting her American Girl doll 'Kit'. Kit's story is set in 1934, and as Kit wants to be a reporter she has writing accessories. One of them is a fountain pen, which sparked Hannah's interest. I remember getting my first fountain pen at school when I was a little younger than Hannah and it seemed like a big deal to be allowed to write with real ink!
Hannah discovered that ink can be a bit messy, and that fountain pens are a little tricky at first, but she persevered and managed to copy out a poem that she really liked from her classic poetry book.
