A Trip To Southsea Castle

Southsea Castle was built in 1544 and was part of a series of fortifications built by Henry VIII  around England's coasts. In 1820 a lighthouse was added which is still in use today. The castle is small, but interesting and has a varied past including being used as a military prison for a time. We visited the castle with Hannah's friend Oscar, his mum and brother, and it was Dean's day off so he came too.
