A Ramble Around Catherington Lith

Yesterday was Dean's day off, so we packed a backpack and went off for a spring ramble through the woods and fields of Catherington. It was beautiful, the hawthorn and bluebells were all out, there were swathes of frothy cow parsley along the footpaths and red campion, speedwell, buttercups and daisies everywhere.

Hawthorn is my favourite tree and cow parsley makes me think of Taffy who is (was!) very partial to a nibble if we passed any out hacking :-) I used to let him......because I'm soft like that! x
