Halloween and Fireworks!

Hannah was very excited about Halloween especially when we arranged to spend the afternoon with her friend (also Hannah!)

We carved our pumpkin the night before, and Hannah made a Halloween lantern,

Then yesterday after lunch, we picked up friend Hannah and her mum and went over to the Halloween activities at Whiteley shopping village. The girls entered the costume competition and completed the pumpkin trail to win some trick or treat candy.

Then we went back to Portchester to visit grammy, and trick or treat the neighbourhood. Some of the houses were so fun, really decorated and scary looking,

 Hannah was nervous of going up to some of the houses, but luckily her friend was much braver so they managed a really good candy stash.

Finally, after we were all 'Halloweened out' we went to Gunwharf Quays for the big annual firework display. This years was really good. Hannah was mesmerised!

She said afterwards that it was her best Halloween yet!
