The South Downs Show

Yesterday we went to the South Downs Show, which is a countryside/rural show at the foot of Buster Hill. It was a really good day full of our favourite things, horses, dogs, historical reenactment, birds of prey and lots of rural crafts and stalls.

We watched the Stallions Of Substance perform -

We found my sister and my mum also watching the horses!

I love this picture of my sister and Hannah together
We saw lots of dog agility classes and a sheep dog demonstration.

There was a really interesting and knowledgeable historical reenactment group there who spent lots of time talking to us and demonstrating their crafts.

We watched some beautiful Percheron horses in a driving demonstration.

and finally, we had a go at some traditional games, this is Hannah having a try at hoop throwing.

A lovely, lovely family day out :-)
