Summer Swimming

Summer is here, the pool is warm and my little water baby is swimming every day! Any time we are home and I'm looking for Hannah this is how I find her...........................

Apparently if you keep your head under you can't hear your mama saying such crazy thing as 'bed time' , 'time to get out and shower' or 'please get out of the pool, we need to leave in 10 mins' !!

 I think I might spend the summer in my garden ......................

The Last Adventure Group Before Summer!!

The last session today was really fun, the children made bubble wands and giant bubbles!

Hannah found it tricky at first to get the bubbles to form,

but she got it in the end!

Everyone had a great time today, and now we have the long summer break to enjoy before group starts up again in September. We would especially like to say a huge thank you to Sally, who has run most of the  brilliant activities we have done this term - Hannah has really enjoyed them all!

Yoga

Hannah has been having one-on-one yoga sessions at Portsmouth Yoga  this month, and is learning a lot about calming herself down and helping herself to control her anxiety.

Lordington Lavender Farm

Today was Dean's birthday, and to celebrate we went to the local lavender farm open day. It was beautiful - a huge field of lavender with a wild flower border!

Catapult Craft At Adventure Group

This week's adventure group activity was catapult making. I wasn't sure if it would appeal to Hannah, but it did - she made three different styles!

We arrived early to group so we took a few pictures around the playground while waiting for our friends to arrive, then Hannah and her friends did some loom banding until the craft started. They are fully committed to loom banding - I don't think I've ever seen Hannah sit still for so long before!!

Yesterday we arrived early at Hannah's Yoga class, so early that we had time to go to the Rock Gardens on Southsea seafront for a walk with granddad and a chance for Hannah to take some more flower pictures.
