Mad Hatters Tea Party

Our usual groups haven't been on for the last two weeks as they only run during school term time, so instead one of the local home education groups held a Mad Hatters Tea Party. It was really fun! They had a tug of war, egg and spoon race, Easter bonnet competition and cake, lots of cake!

It was damp and chilly on the boat going over to Gosport

But everyone soon warmed up doing the Tug-Of-War

The sun came out for the Easter Bonnet parade.

 

The Egg and Spoon race was lots of fun!


The weather was lovely and spring like for most of the day, it didn't rain until it was almost time to leave. We had a very wet and soggy journey home on a boat and two trains, but it was totally worth it - Hannah had a fantastic time!!
