We have been away for a few days to visit my dad and step-mum at their house near Criccieth in North Wales. We've had a lovely time! The weather was kind and it was lovely to spend some time with my dad and step-mum, especially for Hannah, who hasn't had much opportunity to spend time with them due to living so far apart.
It was a 300 mile drive, and took us 7 hours each way, but it was definitely worth it! They live on a farm about 3 miles outside of Criccieth and so of course Hannah was in her element. It was so peaceful at their house, and the farm had ponies, cows and dogs to visit and some beautiful walks around the fields and footpaths.
This is Criccieth Town
On Tuesday we went to a children's farm where Hannah immediately found the most adorable Shetland pony called Stella to ride! This little kid followed her around all morning.
We are planning to go back again very soon!
Thank you very much for having us Dad and Heather xx

Looks like you had a lovely time.
I like Criccieth, although haven't been since I was a teenager.
If you've never been try Portmeirion one time, I went when I was a year or so older than Hannah and found it so magical.
