This week our book is called Noune, Child Of Prehistory by Gemma Sales and Michel Vaidis .
Noune is a small boy who lives with his parents and sister at the foot of a huge rock where herds of reindeer graze. By watching his elders he learns how to make fire, stitch clothing, hunt and fish, all in this school of life, in tune with the season and close to nature. He looks on while grown-ups decorate the great cave with bright coloured, living paintings which fascinate him....................and all this happened 17,000 years ago!
