Tuesday August 11th

Yesterday we went to the local Natural History Museum for another visit. Unfortunately the butterfly house was closed for renovations, but we still found plenty of things of interest including...........................the big dinosaur,

Fossils
Fish
Hannah and me in the aquarium section.
amphibian tank
beetles and locust.
wasp nest and dragonflies.
stoneage tools
city wildlife

Wooly Mammoth

After the museum we went to Canoe Lake park where Hannah................................

went on the bouncy castle
climbed trees

tried out the exercise equipment
And went butterfly and bee hunting.

This lavender smelled gorgeous and was full of bees and butterflies.

If you enlarge this pic you can see the pollen on the bee - amazing!!

And all this took place in glorious summer sunshine!
