New Shoes, Play and a Bonfire

Anyone who knows us in real life will, i'm sure, have heard how much trouble we have finding shoes for Hannah! Every season we trek around the shops trying Startrite and Clarks shoes on and never finding any that Hannah is comfortable in. She much prefers bare feet, and only wore Daisy Roots and Pedoodles until her feet out grew their size range, and then our troubles began. Until today that is, when her new Terra Plana Vivo Barefoot shoes arrived! They are so lovely, really soft and flexible and Hannah loves them :-)

How cute are these feet?

Luckily we were going out to visit friends so the new shoes had an immediate test run on the way to their house.
and when we arrived there was a lot of playing,
with this little boy - isn't he gorgeous!

We have also been doing a lot of work in the garden. We rehomed our chickens in february after our garden flooded and this week it has finally dried enough to repair some of the damage.
Hannah helped me to build a bonfire and we burned a big pile of old fencing and bits of chicken house - i love bonfires, and although Hannah was a little wary she enjoyed it too.

Now, we just need a lawn and it'll be a real garden :-)
