Hedge End Pond

Today Hannah and I went to Hedge End on the train to visit a little pond and parkland with Hannah's best friend Sydney and her mum. It was another lovely sunny day here, and we had a beautiful walk along by a pond with ducklings (which the girls fed with wild bird seed), through bluebells, primroses and other wild flowers to a small wooden playground in the middle of the parkland. On the way back the girls collected a few flowers (leaving plenty to seed naturally) to press and use to make placemats to remind them of their day together.

Taking turns in the wagon on the way there.
