Southsea Heavy Horse Show

This weekend was the Heavy Horse Show in Southsea. It is on every year during May bank holiday, and Hannah always looks forward to it! This year was quiet as the weather was showery and cool, but we still had a lovely day.

We started by going around the stables and meeting some of the shire horses, then we watched the 'Big Parade' where all the heavy horses go out along the seafront and common and then back to the show ring.

We met the ponies who took part in the Scurry Racing - this pair of Welsh Section A ponies were adorable!!

So were these two!!!

We sat up on the hill to watch the Scurry Race and Hannah cheered on her favourite pair, they came last as they were very young and it was their first show, but she didn't mind and still loved them!
After the show we went around the horse boxes saying goodbye to all the horses.

And finally had a play on the common before going home.
