Intech Science Centre and Planetarium

Today we went to Intech Science Centre and Planetarium .
It was our first visit and it was fascinating, Hannah learned so much and had a really fun time trying out all of the activities with her daddy.
Intech has 100 interactive exhibits, which demonstrate the science and technology of the world around us in an engaging and exciting way. It's very 'hands-on' and the children are encouraged to have a go at everything. Hannah and Dean did have a go at everything and i have literally 100 photo's, so i've just picked a few to show you what our day was like!

Trying out the air tableelectical conductors
learning about mass
a huge stacking puzzle
How things float

Body Heat CensorsThe air tube
Newton's Law of Motion
Planning a mobile phone network
Recycling Centre
Look, no hands!!
Daddy can hold 6 bricks !!
Making an electrical circuit
The spinning table.
After we had explored all the activities we went into the planetarium show, which was called The Secrets Of The Cardboard Rocket, and was a show designed for younger children which took us on a journey through space visiting all the planets in our solar system.

It was a really good day and i would definitely recommend a visit if you have the chance.
