Art - Stamping and Marbling

The activity at our home-schooling group yesterday was stamping and marbling. The mum who ran the session showed the children how to prepare the marbling paint and water ready to make their pictures, and then how to float the paper on the top of the mixture to make the marble effect.

Hannah absolutely loved this activity! I'm going to invest in a marbling kit for home so that she can experiment a bit more with the technique.

There was also stamping to try with lots of shapes cut out of vegetables!

Hannah made a Moshi Monsters picture for her friend Melissa!

Finally I have five minutes peace and have enjoyed catching up with you and Hannah. Such lovely pictures and an account of your days, the butterfly cake looked totally yummy, did you make it Susie?

Cannot believe how grown up Hannah looks, time flies doesn't it? She's exactly a year behind Benedict, he was nine on Monday... double digits next year, scary!

Hugs to you both San xx

What fun! I love the marbled effect on the paper. That's definitely something my girls would love to try:)
