Today we have chosen one of Hannah's new Christmas present books to share. Star Seeker - A Journey to Outer Space, by Theresa Heine and Victor Tavares is a beautifully illustrated poetic tour of the solar system.
'With a zigzag of lightning
I'll spark Pluto's light,
And fireworks will blaze
In the dark of the night.'
At the end of the poem there are 6 pages of facts about the solar system, the planets and exploring space.
A fantastic book with just the right mix of science and story!

I love these bright illustrations. I keep hanging on to V's old books like this as they still have so much charm. Glad you had some nice books for Christmas, Hanna :)
