The Year Of The Rabbit .............and a Tea Party
To recognise the Chinese New Year, the year of the rabbit, one of the older girls in our home schooling group brought her rabbit, Billy, in to the session yesterday. She told the children all about billy, and then held a question and answer session. The children all loved it! She did such a great session and her rabbit was just lovely - Hannah really enjoyed meeting him and learning all about him.
After lunch it was free play - Hannah's friend Jordan showed some of the younger children how to play pool,
and then they all took off outside to build a rope swing!
Which was very successful, and a lot of fun judging by the shrieks and laughter!

Yesterday evening Hannah thought she might like to have a tea party, so she invited her two best dolls and set up her little china tea set. She made real tea (very carefully boiling the kettle and pouring the water), shared out the cookies and sat around the table chatting 'like a grown up lady'........soooo sweet!
Lanie, Hannah and Hannah doll enjoyed themselves very much :-)
