| It was a beautiful day! |

| Hannah was excited to be out exploring with her friend Melissa. |

| We walked along the waterway which cuts Portsmouth off from the mainland to make us an island, and had a picnic lunch on the banks. |

| The children had a lovely time exploring the old ramparts ! |

| Hannah and Melissa made it right to the very top! |

| Hannah said sliding down again was brilliant!! |

| The Hawthorn was in full bloom and looked beautiful! It is also known as May and is Hannah's birthday flower! |

| The water was so still and peaceful! |

| After our walk we went across to a playground for a rest (for the adults) and some play! |
