A Special Sign Language Lesson

On Tuesday this lovely mum - Kerry - came along to teach the children some sign language. Kerry has been learning sign language herself and offered to teach a little to any of the children who would like to learn it. She had a big response and they all loved it!
She first explained why people use sign language and how it was developed, and then taught them some basic signs such as Hello, Good-Bye, Please, Thank You, different feelings, pets, and also gave everyone an alphabet sheet so they could work out how to sign their names.
Hannah really liked the session and is hoping Kerry will come back and teach her some more very soon!

Thank you Kerry for a really great session!
